Treatment of depression

What is a depression

Anyone can get a depression. Figures from Netdoktor.dk indicate that around 500 half a million Danes are affected by a severe depression during their lives. Depression incidence has been increasing since World War II. Technology and community development has resulted in increased complexity, speed, and opacity. The expectations of us have also increased, just as we develop ourselves and make greater demands. This pressure, combined with the expectation of our own capabilities and what life should contain can be difficult to meet and often ends in a feeling of disappointment. This feeling can trigger symptoms of depression. Depression and anxiety are closely related emotions. Similarly, depressive states and anxiety often occur together.

Treatment of Depression

I work with you to clarify the background / vulnerability of the general symptoms and critical situations. Consistency of ideas that maintain the dysfunctional thoughts and develop the negative reinforcement, and feeling the physical sensations and behavior are clarified. The negative reinforcement can be removed and replaced with positive reinforcements. You can get started including the senseless and thought and action can be more constructive and positive. A combination of a prescribed medication therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy in some cases may be appropriate if the medical treatment does not have a degree blocking registration emotions.
